Jamie Daniels - rhythm guitar, harmonica, lead vocals: Jamie is an actor/musician from Tempe, Arizona. His love of Dylan's work led him to delve deep into music, where he became proficient in guitar, harmonica, and keyboard, all self-taught. In recent years, Jamie has gained accolades for his dead-on performance as Bob Dylan, and continues to enjoy bringing his music, as well as that of The Band, to audiences everywhere.
Karl Kerfoot - lead guitar, vocals: Karl brings a diverse musical background to Jack of Hearts. “I’ve studied music formally and all that jazz, but Bob Dylan’s music doesn’t rely on rules or flashy techniques. The raw emotion and poetry are what I think moves people when they listen to Dylan. I try to bring this mentality to my guitar playing with Jack of Hearts and treat Dylan’s music with respect. Jacob Mayeda - bass guitar, vocals: Jacob is a guitarist recently graduated from the Studio/Jazz Guitar program at the University of Southern California. He grew up in Redondo Beach, CA and has been playing music since he was twelve. He is actively involved in jazz, popular, and Brazilian music groups.
Dave Bloom - keyboard, vocals: Dave has been fortunate enough to play piano for Mama Cass Elliot, Rita Coolidge, Link Wray, Katey Sagal, Danny Elfman, Stephen Bishop, and Billy Joel. For over four years he performed regularly at Cafe Bellisimo. And for over six years Dave owned a recording studio, working with great artists such as Art Garfunkel, Mick Fleetwood and many others.
Thomas Newbold - drums, vocals: Thomas recently completed his Masters in Percussion Performance from SDSU. Not only is Thomas a talented drummer and vocalist, he is also a capable musician on many other instruments including guitar, piano, marimba and much more. Tom is currently teaching for the Los Angeles County Youth and Music Program, the European School of Music and Art and also teaches private lessons, tutors in all areas of music theory, and performs with multiple ensembles around L.A. www.tomnewboldpercussion.com
