The Jack of Hearts are returning to The Tavern in Ventura on Friday, May 10th for a night of clasic music by Bob Dylan & The Band!

Starting at 10pm, you'll experience three hours of legendary rock and roll -- from early acoustic Dylan through his electric conversion to Blood on the Tracks and beyond!  You'll also hear a set dedicated to Dylan's famed backing group, The Band. 

And.....the show is free!  So come on out to The Tavern in Ventura, and discover why the Jack of Hearts are the best Dylan tribute in the world!  We'll see you there!

The Jack of Hearts will honor Bob as part of a lineup of musicians performing in the 23rd Annual Dylanfest on Sunday, May 4th 2014!!

Dylanfest is a seven hour celebration of the music of Bob Dylan. Fans Andy & Renee started it in 1991 and have been holding the event ever since. The show started with their band, The Management and a few friends doing 4 sets of Bob Dylan songs and has grown to a seven and a half hour event with over 60 musicians performing over 60 Dylan songs.  Hard Rain is the "house band", and they'll be joined by solo artists, full bands and instrumentalists throughout the course of the day.

The festival will be held outside, rain or shine (will be moved inside in case of rain).  Admission is $25 for adults. Children under 12 are $10. Food and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available for purchase at the show. Tables and chairs are available, but you may bring a beach chair for seating.

Hard Rain presents a tribute to The Last Waltz, the film that chronicled the 1976 final concert of The Band. We did this show in January, and had such a great time that we've scheduled this second show in response to the early sellout of the original performance!

Goodie Tu-Shoes presents the Jack of Hearts performing a set of classic Dylan tunes on Friday, April 20th at Los Globos in Silverlake!!

The night's festivities begin at 10pm and goes all through the night, with the Jack of Hearts taking the stage at midnight!  Come out to hear a ton of great bands and DJs, and why not have a handful of drinks while you're at it?
